Feeling a little nervous? That's completely normal. Here are answers to some of the questions I hear most often before a boudoir session.
I've never done anything like this. Will you help me pose?
Absolutely. You don't need to know a single pose before you arrive. I'll guide you from head to toe, including your hands, facial expressions, and movement. Your only job is to show up and trust the process.
What should I wear?
We'll talk about wardrobe before your session. Lingerie is always beautiful, but it isn't your only option. Bodysuits, oversized shirts, robes, sweaters, sheets, or something meaningful to you can photograph beautifully. We'll choose pieces that help you feel comfortable and confident.
Do I need to lose weight before booking?
No. You don't need to change your body to deserve beautiful photographs. My job is to work with posing, lighting, and angles that celebrate you exactly as you are today.
I'm nervous. Is that normal?
Very. Most clients walk in with at least a few butterflies. That's why I'll guide you throughout the entire experience. You aren't expected to walk through the door already feeling fearless.
Will my photos be shared online?
Your privacy matters. Your images will not be shared publicly without your permission. We'll discuss your preferences so you're comfortable with how your photographs are used.
Do you retouch the images?
Yes. Your final images receive professional editing while keeping you looking like you. My goal is polished, beautiful photographs—not changing who you are.
Can I bring someone with me?
If you'd feel more comfortable having someone there, ask me when booking and we'll discuss what works best for your session and studio experience.
Do I have to be nude?
Absolutely not. Boudoir is about what makes you feel beautiful and confident. Your level of coverage is completely your choice.
Who is boudoir for?
Every adult who wants to celebrate themselves. You don't need a particular body type, age, relationship status, or reason.
When should I book?
Booking ahead gives us plenty of time to plan your experience. If your photographs are intended for a wedding, anniversary, birthday, or another special date, let me know when you inquire so we can discuss timing.
